Candi Kethek (Kethek Temple) is located in Gumeng village, Jenawi sub-district Karanganyar district, Central Java is still a tourist location with Candi Cetho (Cetho Temple) and Puri Saraswati.
Kethek temple discovered in 1842 by archaeologists from the Netherlands that are Verbeek, Van Der Vlis and Hoepermans when doing research and excavations in the area Lawu mountain. candi Kethek restored in 1982 by a special assistant to Suharto President, Soedjono Hoemardani.
