Puri Saraswati

Puri Saraswati is a new building donated from the Regent of Gianyar Bali, AA. Gde Agung Barata to Regent of Karanganyar Hj. Rina Ratna Sri Iriani Ningsih, S. Pd, M. Hum, as a form ofcooperation and fraternity among the Balinese Hindu and Javanese Hindu.

Puri Saraswati own adjoining paved with stone floors and there is a pool that contained a statue of Dewi Saraswati. On the edge of the pond there is a place that used to put offerings. Dewi Saraswati is the goddess of science and art. So every 210 days Saraswati Day is commemorated with performances of traditional art Javanese and Bali.
